At long last.... On June 9, 1954 during the "McCarthy-Army" hearings Joseph N Welch unleashed his utter disdain for the self-absorbed, hedonistic, and narcissistic Joe McCarthy.... "Senator, may we not drop this? We know he belonged to the Lawyers Guild. Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense ...

Gordie Tapp on the tv series bewitched
I find this so much more humorous than today’s movies. Appropriate humor. lol
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
The best version of this ever.
My brother and I watched this when we were teens late at night and woke up our mom from laughing so hard
Loved this show ❤
Was this the only time Archie didn’t get spit in his eye??
My grandpa always sang the last part and always thought he made a short song till I looked the lyrics up😭
I remember being a youuuuung kid watching this with my Grandparents when would spend the night over their house. Grandpa Jones was always my favorite.
What did he say before rubbing alcohol???
Meet me at the book-burning
2 and 10 babe...... LOL
Why did Ray need to write anything down? Why couldn't he memorize it?
Probably so he could show people when he tattled
You lied to me! 😂😂😂
Whenever I stayed with my grandparents, I had to watch this with them. And then Lawrence Welk. After a full morning of soap operas and game shows. I miss them. 💗

One of the most underrated comedies ever made
Right here 😂
This movie is a staple of my childhood. It made me laugh so friggin hard I nearly passed out.
Dave was too aggressive here. And breaking into the basement is against the law, its sad that he got killed, but he kinda brought it on himself.
"It's not like those real musicians who think they're so cool and hip" - nailed it.
Hilarious Classic Scene
I love the serious look on their faces. Makes it all the more humorous!
They searched the world over and thought they found Grr Honey. They met another and Offt they were gone
Oh the memories and easy good ole days 😢
I've never watched a full episode of Hee Haw, but my dad loved watching this show when I was a kid, so I caught glimpses. This is the one part of Hee Haw that I remember, and I quote it to this day, usually when I'm looking for something.
❤

My dad used to sing this to me when I was little ❤
Used to watch this in syndication on Sunday nights with mom and dad. Funny show, good times.
My parents watched this some, but my grandmother and her sister would watch this every time it was on... watching this routine takes me back to very pleasant days of my childhood when we would visit them in Southern Illinois....I can close my eyes, listen to this, and be back in my grandmother's house watching this.
I like them French fried potaters. Mmm hmm Love this movie
I was expecting "sign here please" 🤣
One of the funniest movies ever! Between this and the bee sting! I was in stitches laughing 😃
“Carl it’ll be minim wage and they ain’t nuthing’ back there but a toilet and an old cot. (Well thatll be fine!”) Prison warden very quick to accept the dirt poor offer for Carl. 😊
“They make good double meat burger!”😊
ThT dudes funny this line always cracked me up… check him out with billy Bob and bill Paxton in a movie 2 years later called “ a simple plan “
Enjoy your flight, I mean ride. That is the Soarin' pre-show guy at Disney!!
The thing I've always loved about this movie is that among all of the main cast, Karl (with all his issues) and the son are the least fucked-up characters in the entire story.
I understand the story but the ending confused me. When the wax figures were slowly walking towards him & pounced on him. So it was Marvin’s hallucinations but how did he get turned to wax? Was the murderer wax figures that pounced on him...was that just a symbol of Marvin killing himself because he went crazy over his hallucinations? In other words, the way the story & directing was set up. The wax figure with the rope raised above his head. We all saw him strangle the owner of the museum. But in reality it was from Marvin’s perspective because Marvin gave us (the audience) the false impression that the wax figures were indeed real. But it was just the directing showing us he was tripping & the wax figure strangling him was to symbolize Marvin actually doing the act. Because of that method, what was the symbol when the wax figures landed on top of him in the end before it transitioned to the scene when Marvin as a wax figure was revealed? Was the wax figures landing on him while he screamed a symbol of his hallucinations getting the best of him which led him to kill himself, someone found out & saw him dead, then turned his corpse in in someway, found out through DNA he was the killer of all 3 victims, & then the museum decided to put his wax figure on display?
My friends and I would howl this song at the top of our lungs after a night out drinking in college. 😂🎉🍻
“ what do you care? You know where you’re going.”😂😂😂😂
They were on the same era as Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction and other rural based comedies.
The guest singers over the years were great fun, like Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, and many others. But when these two originals did the bit during the first couple seasons, there were subtleties that couldn't be matched by the others, like the syncopation of "...all alone...", their emphasized head jerk at "I searched the world over...", and Gordie Tapp's stoneface through the entire verse. RIP to both comedy greats.
huey forever ❤
2:21 Darth Vader: I’m gonna Break your neck… Commander Fox: *Scoffs* Don’t believe me, I thought it was the stupidest idea I ever heard of- Vader: BREAK. YOUR. NECK!
Great Movie
McCarthy was right. The communists now control the democrat party
"jesus"
This is just eternal! Who wrote this script !? Puddy? Jerry? I adore you all! Thanks for helping us feel closer to heaven with every incredible laugh. Love brady
Most of the stories in the series are written by Jerry and Larry David, I believe.
